Full Description
We is looking for a highly-motivated team lead to accelerate our container platform infrastructure's patching and security activities. As our private cloud continues to grow, the Container Platforms SecOps Manager will partner with our Information Protection organization to identify and mitigate security issues in our environment, as well as driving continuous improvement in our patching and lifecycle processes. Their team will be responsible for the management of OpenShift and OpenStack infrastructure.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, prioritization, and execution of Cigna's OpenShift and OpenStack infrastructure patch management
Partner with IT Operations and Engineering teams on the execution, maintenance, and improvement of day-to-day patch management and vulnerabilities remediation activities
Maintain a close working relationship with Cigna's Information Protection teams to ensure vulnerability management and patch management programs are coordinated and meeting SLAs for patching
Partner with Engineering and Delivery teams to establish and maintain test environments, test procedures, and pilot groups to allow thorough testing of patches prior to full deployment
Identify and execute on opportunities to automate and orchestrate patch management, including deployment and regression testing of patches
Qualifications:
Must be a current contractor with Cigna Healthcare, Evernorth Health Services, or one of their subsidiaries.
Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
Systems Administration or Engineering experience in a virtualized environment
Experience working in information security or information risk management - Experience leading patch management
Familiarity with vulnerability remediation
Team leader who can organize large-scale rollout and drive results
Direct experience with OpenShift and/or OpenStack preferred, but not required
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 136,500 - 227,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
