New Job Assistant Manager & Trainer In Connecticut

Our barn is professional yet inviting and encouraging. We are a fun group of horse lovers ranging from first time kids lessons to adult amateurs looking to show and have fun in the dressage arena. We are not highly competitive, but provide our services, care, and attention to the top level standard. Owner and Trainer rides and competes at the FEI level and currenlty trains with riders ranked in the top 3 world dressage standings, however our barn maintains a family like atomosphere.

Responsibilites will include: Morning feeding, turnout, and stalls monday-friday, barn oganization, maintaining barn cleanlieness, riding training horses, and teaching a variety of lessons in the afternoons. We currently have 16 horses and a small facility that is easy to work in. We are currently in the process of building a brand new facility.

You should be skilled in completing chores timely and efficiently, as well as have close attention to detail. You should be comfortable teaching begginer type lessons with the potential desire to teach higher level students if you would like to level up your skills. We are not requiring this candidate to train horses, however, if you have skill/interest we will welcome and nuture that desire!

Currently loft apartment with full kitchen, 1.5 baths, large bedroom, washer dryer, AC/Heat New facility would provide private housing in multi-family home
