Description
The mission of the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS) is to deliver quality services that enhance the health, safety, and well being of all people in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

The Administrative Branch Manager will oversee the Leasing Design Branch within the Division of Facilities Management. This includes providing oversight to staff, providers, and other agencies with resolving routine to complex programmatic issues, overseeing, and monitoring contracts, conducting audits, and monitoring, and analyzing trends and patterns to identify program deficiencies. The individual will attend meetings with stakeholders and assist with making program decisions to ensure state compliance is met. Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity!

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Provides management ad oversight of the CHFS leased properties, space planning, and moving services functions
  • Responsible for branch staff performance evaluations and personnel recommendations
  • Cabinet liaison to Finance Real Properties on leasing activities and agreements
  • Develop and implement Cabinet wide procedures
  • Provide technical assistance and conduct training for all CHFS staff as it relates to moving services and property management
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Five years of professional administrative experience.

Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: A master's degree in public or business administration or a related field will substitute for one year of the required experience.

Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional administrative or research experience will substitute for the required education on a year for year basis.

Working Conditions
Incumbents working in this job title primarily perform duties in an office setting. Minimal travel may be required.
Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
