- Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time.
- Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the organization, ensuring that management operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
- Participates in special logistics management operation projects, munitions surety, and performs special assignments.
- Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.

- This position is Situational Telework Eligible (must reside in the local area) for UP TO a maximum of 80% of the time.
- Amount of telework time and telework schedule will be at the discretion of the Selecting Official and implemented after entrance on duty.
- Obtain and maintain security clearance of secret (NCS).
- Employee must within 30-days of assuming this position and annually thereafter, file an OGE-450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report. Employee is required to attend annual ethics and procurement integrity training.
- Employee may be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours to include evenings and weekends and may be subject to recall.
- Incumbent may be required to report to work during base exercises, contingencies, or emergency situations and overtime/comp time/credit hours may be required to accomplish assigned duties.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management positions located HERE
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-02, equivalent to the next to lower grade GS-11 or equivalent in the Federal Service. Specialized experience must include planning, directing, and organizing logistical efforts; serving as a technical advisor on logistics readiness mission capabilities; and a thorough knowledge and application of contingency planning principles and concepts.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of the applicable logistics management principles, concepts, policies, and laws; logistics functions, programs, and systems applicable to the duties of position; sources, responsibilities, and means for providing assistance and advice to resolve logistics problems; and all aspects of life cycle integrated logistics support.
2. Knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures.
3. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and mentor, motivate, and appraise the staff of an organization through subordinate supervisors.
4. Ability to identify, analyze, and translate complex information, make appropriate judgments, and evaluate options.
5. Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of one or more organizational segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources.
6. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
