Clarivate is seeking to hire on a dynamic Renewals Account Manager to join our Academia and Government team! This position plays a critical role in maintaining successful client relationships, managing renewals, driving incremental revenue, and providing invaluable cross-functional perspective with our ProQuest & Ex Libris products.

  • Associate's degree or relevant experience
  • 3-5 years’ related experience in sales or customer service
  • Strong Excel Skills, familiarity with pivot tables and data management.

  • Salesforce experience, or similar Renewals Account Manager experience
  • Experience in consultative selling and strategic account management
  • Prior experience in academia/government customer-facing roles
  • Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
What will you be doing in this role?...
  • Provide on-going support and coordinate with Renewals Account Managers in North America to determine best team player/approach to engage client in renewal activities and new business opportunities; considers account history, existing relationships, and other factors.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on specialty products, articulating the value proposition whether as a single product sale or as part of a larger portfolio.
  • Focus on new business, uncovering opportunities, creating target lists, prospect, and participate in territory planning while engaging the RAM/Account Manager as appropriate.
  • Participate in strategic discussions with internal stakeholders on future product enhancements; customer offerings/bundles and other initiatives aimed to strengthen renewal retention and new business generation.
  • Execute regular account reviews with the RAM North America Team, including contract status, product migration and cross-sell/upsell opportunity, account penetration, and issue review, providing updated and regular status reports to RAM Americas Leadership.
Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, primarily working Eastern U.S. core business hours, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed.
