As an Alternatives Middle Office central point of contact, you will spend every day defining, transforming, and delivering solutions for the rapidly expanding Private Equity and Hedge Fund businesses within JPMorgan Asset Management - Alternatives. Demonstrating strategic thought leadership, you will leverage your experience and deep understanding of supporting an Alternatives platform to deliver streamlined solutions and operating model support for all stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities
  • Act as a central point of contact for Middle Office Portfolio Managers, Client Account Managers, Business Managers, and Controllers
  • Provide Middle Office support for the business unit by assessing / improving operating model for current platform, new Fund launches, and other initiatives
  • Act as subject matter expert in resolving problems for the business and enhancing processes by coordinating with all external and internal stakeholders (Risk, Legal, Compliance, Finance)
  • Participate in technology initiatives - revamp legacy processes, implement new systems, and proactively look for means of automation, efficiencies and scalabilities
  • Liaise with all Operations' teams - treasury operations, fee billing, Regulatory reporting
  • Manage control testing and internal audits
  • Vendor management (fund administrator, custodian, auditor, etc.)

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • A strong understanding of the lifecycle of Alternatives / Private Equity & Hedge Funds
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and decision making abilities
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a deadline oriented environment
  • Detail oriented including strong documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technical environment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance
  • 4 - 8 years of previous Alternatives / Private Equity / Hedge Fund Middle Office experience from a fund, fund administrator, or other relevant financial services experience
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently as well as be able to effectively work on a team
  • Ability to think about processes and impacts in a non-linear fashion
