We are looking for a passionate People & Culture Coordinator to join our team!

The People & Culture Coordinator is an integral part of the People & Culture Department. This position assists with general employee and applicant inquiries and assists with a variety of employee events and initiatives in addition to other administrative duties.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to)

  • The People & Culture Coordinator is the first smiling face employees and applicants meet upon entering into the People & Culture Office.
  • This position assists with general employee and applicant inquiries, handles all incoming calls, provides employment verifications, processes a variety of reports, maintains all general employment files, and assists with a variety of employee events and initiatives in addition to other administrative duties.
  • Managing company HRIS (Workday) by maintaining organized employee records, processing changes in employee status, and pulling a variety of reports and tools
  • Assist with recruitment process including responding to applications and resumes, checking references and processing new hire paperwork.
  • Arranges and drives employee relations through special events, awards, recognition, and celebrations
  • Handles all new hire documentation and communication, including but not limited to background check, employment verification etc.
  • Supports recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, and benefits administration
  • Responsible for assisting team members with benefit enrollment and benefit questions
  • This highly visible role also provides administrative support to the People & Culture (including Learning) team.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information in the department including conversations, personal information and medical files.
  • The People & Culture Coordinator handles every task with integrity and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Exceptional organization and detail orientation, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment in a service-focused culture
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative and use good judgment
  • Perform with a high level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Experience with Workday (or equivalent HRIS) is helpful but not essential
  • Strong interpersonal skills coupled with excellent communication
  • Previous experience working in Human Resources strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in English
