The influential and collaborative New York Region Private Client Services Leader will be responsible for exceeding business plans, revenue growth, client experience, operational excellence, business and cultural integration, and people strategies for our Private Client Services business within a designated geography. We are seeking a hands-on dynamic leader with documented success working within a matrixed, sales-focused environment to drive achievement of regional objectives. Stellar collaboration skills are required to improve integration of expertise and client service /operational deliverables. This leader exhibits a desire to drive growth through profitability, identification of acquisition opportunities and marketplace talent and fostering an environment where top talent can thrive. These qualities resonate as the foundation of this highly visible role. Regular travel is amongst expectations to deliver results.

Primary duties, responsibilities and initiatives include, but are not limited to:

  • Create, define and execute a multi-year strategic business plan focusing on sustainable organic growth in the High Net Worth Market.
  • Strategic elements to include financial results: meeting or exceeding growth & revenue targets as stated in budget, client acquisition and retention, value proposition, and talent acquisition and management.
  • Engage local market and industry contacts to expand our network and promote the Risk Strategies brand and capabilities. Participate in industry and community events to expand our reach. Overall responsibility for local marketing efforts in collaboration with corporate marketing and other senior leadership functions.
  • Create an individual relationship with top client accounts to become viewed as a resource and partner.
  • Act as a culture carrier and role model for corporate values and behaviors including a commitment to diversity and inclusion, ethical excellence, innovation, and service to clients, associates and our communities

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred; MBA (or similar degree) desired.
  • Professional qualifications/insurance licenses as required by the Company or ability to secure within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in insurance brokerage, with a minimum of 5 years in a sales leadership capacity with direct P&L responsibility.
  • Proven track record of new business development and existing business retention.
  • Ability to set sales goals for production talent and coach to achievement.
  • Ability to act as a Risk Strategies brand ambassador in the market.
  • Proven success in working in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, to include collaboration, influencing and negotiation skills.

At Risk Strategies Company, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off and paid holidays for eligible employees. The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $185,000 - $260,000. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
