This position is located in the Community Health Services (CHS) Central Office.

Under limited supervision, functions as a subject matter expert for the Administrative statewide users of electronic health record (EHR) solutions. The coordinator must consistently demonstrate solid organizational and facilitation skills, professional behaviors, and some technical expertise in the Revenue Cycle aspects of the EHR. This position is vital in maintaining and supporting regional administrative EHR practices. This position will be required to demonstrate a strong service commitment within the Community Health Services team to enhance the use and management of EHR Administrative Solutions.

Responsible for working closely with subject matter experts to ensure continuous quality improvement efforts and to maintain the correct data entry methods into the admin revenue cycle systems. Collaborates in developing end-user functional training documentation and updates relevant SharePoint sites with the most up-to-date content.

Demonstrate excellent communication skills and have a strong sense of the technological needs of our end-users. Collaborate with training and cross-functional team members to understand the workflows. Ensures that workflows are followed, and workarounds are discouraged.

Point of contact for Revenue Cycle Administrative EHR issues/concerns, including entering financial charges and taking payments within Revenue Cycle. Follow and participate in all aspects of Change Management, testing, and validation when system changes occur. (Code upgrades, patches, modifications, etc.)

Provides a backup to the electronic health record support desk when identified.
This is a fully remote position. If instructed to report, headquarters is negotiable. All applicants must be a South Carolina resident.

State Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and at least one (1) year of experience in a clinical/public health setting. Experience/knowledge of primary computer usage and troubleshooting; and clinical system applications. Experience/knowledge of navigating appointment scheduling and management systems effectively. Ability to communicate with all departmental colleagues, other professionals, and departments professionally and effectively. Ability to identify problems and provide solutions. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
