- Serve as managing editor for various Agency publications.
- Write and edit press releases, speeches, PowerPoint presentations, talking points, and other Agency communications.
- Coordinating the printing of materials, displays and promotional items on behalf of the Agency,
- Attend/staff Agency booth at events/functions to increase Agency awareness and business partnerships.
- Serve as liaison o Governor's Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities.
- Serve as coordinating liaison with high schools and colleges/universities for the annual journalism contest.
- Collaborate with Agency departments to improve internal and external communications.
- Serve as backup for running the Agency print shop.
- Assisting Communications Director with responses to media request/interviews and assist in preparing and coordinating crisis responses.
- Assist with gathering data for responding to FOIA request as needed.
- Assist with campus tours and coordinating of statewide events.
A bachelor's degree in journalism, excellent written communication skills, and relevant experience in printing and binding/finishing, and 4 years experience in public relations.
