  • Serve as managing editor for various Agency publications.
  • Write and edit press releases, speeches, PowerPoint presentations, talking points, and other Agency communications.
  • Coordinating the printing of materials, displays and promotional items on behalf of the Agency,
  • Attend/staff Agency booth at events/functions to increase Agency awareness and business partnerships.
  • Serve as liaison o Governor's Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities.
  • Serve as coordinating liaison with high schools and colleges/universities for the annual journalism contest.
  • Collaborate with Agency departments to improve internal and external communications.
  • Serve as backup for running the Agency print shop.
  • Assisting Communications Director with responses to media request/interviews and assist in preparing and coordinating crisis responses.
  • Assist with gathering data for responding to FOIA request as needed.
  • Assist with campus tours and coordinating of statewide events.

A bachelor's degree in journalism, excellent written communication skills, and relevant experience in printing and binding/finishing, and 4 years experience in public relations.
