Job Summary:

HCA TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee is seeking an internal medicine physician to join as Transitional Year Residency Program Director for their established program.

Qualified Candidates:
  • ABIM certification required
  • Applicants must have a minimum of three (3) years of prior academic leadership appointments and experience per the ACGME requirements
  • TN Medical License or ability to obtain
  • Available Summer 2023
  • Experience in clinical supervision of residents
Responsibilities:
  • Dedicated administrative time
  • Part Time position, ability to work remainder of time independently (hospitalist, Private, Periop,etc)
  • Serve as an advisor and role model
  • Teach didactics and lead curriculum development
  • Engage in Administrative and scholarly activities
  • Resident recruitment and selection, evaluation, promotion, and disciplinary action
