REVENUE ASSESSMENT SPECIALIST
COMMISSIONER OF THE REVENUE"S OFFICE
Starting Full Time Salary Range: $ 37,921 - $41,713
The City of Fredericksburg Commissioner of the Revenue is seeking a full-time Revenue Assessment Specialist to research and assimilate available data to accurately assess values of vehicles and business personal property. Work involves moderately challenging accounting tasks involving record-keeping and maintaining financial accounts, and verifying and examining records related to revenue assessment.
Successful applicants will have High school diploma or GED; supplemented by vocational/technical training in accounting or bookkeeping; three (3) to five (5) years previous experience and/or training involving accounting, customer relations or public service preferred; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Experience working in local government is a plus, as is experience working with the Tyler Munis software package.
