Job Brief
Provide administrative support to the officers of the Private Banking Department. Provide prompt, efficient service and assistance to all clients in the department.

Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:
- Prepare letters, memorandums, reports and credit/debit items.
- Process payments, advances, and wire transfer requests, etc.
- Provide quality customer service on telephone and to clients visiting the bank.
- Assist officers in opening new accounts, ordering credit bureaus, preparing loan papers and sending loan files to Corporate for boarding onto the system
- Cross-sell additional consumer services to new and existing clients (i.e. Business Internet Banking, Personal On-Line Banking and Electronic Statements). Assist customers with setup.
- Assist with special events, presentations and meetings. (As Needed)
- Schedule client/prospect calls, meetings and prepare necessary marketing materials.
- Assist the lending officers on clean up of loan documentation exceptions, request financial statements when due and assist in the insurance monitoring of credit relationships.
- Assist with monthly reports when requested.
- Answering phones, researching and resolving customer problems.
- Process foreign currency orders when needed.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School diploma/GED
- Banking experience would be helpful, as well as comprehension of commercial and real estate lending.
Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
- Exceptional administrative/clerical skills
- Good judgment
- Work well under pressure.
- PC knowledge, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Basic bookkeeping skills extremely helpful.
- Confidentiality is a must.
