The Opportunity

An employee in this class performs manual work involving the maintenance of City parks, playgrounds, community centers, and lakes. Work is performed under the supervision of a park’s maintenance supervisor and is evaluated on the completion of performance objectives, cleanliness, and proper operation of park facilities, public feedback, and visual inspection of completed work.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age of older to apply.

• Some work experience in grounds and facilities maintenance preferred.

• Possession or ability to maintain valid a North Carolina Driver’s license.

Compensation

$12.00 per hour
