Overview:
ANDERSON, SC/PLANO, TX (NATIONWIDE SEARCH) - Traveling Southern charm family seeking a FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT NANNY for their 4 children; a 13-year-old girl, 12 and 10-year-old boys, and a newborn girl- DOB 4/19. The oldest 3 children are very self-sufficient and need little care. The main focus of this position is to help the newborn baby girl mesh into their busy lifestyle comfortably. All 3 older children attend a private school Monday - Thursday 8 am - 2:30 pm. Duties include helping get the older children off to school, feeding baby, full care for baby, helping baby adjust to traveling, diapering, assisting with dishes, helping with kid's laundry, helping out around the house as needed, helping keep bottles prepped and ready, and driving children to and from activities on occasion. The candidate must be comfortable driving with the children and taking them to school down the street. The family has a vehicle for the nanny to use while they are working, but are flexible if the nanny prefers their own vehicle.

The newborn baby girl is adopted and very loved. The parents want a nanny who values and loves her unconditionally as they do. The family is seeking a nanny who blends in as a member of the family and not an additional parent. There may be the potential to work overnights to help with the newborn for the first few weeks to help everyone get adjusted. The perfect candidate is someone who is joy-filled, can read the room, is comfortable with a bustling and loud household, is comfortable with their large extended family around the house, and can go with the flow. The baby will have her own area in the home away from the older sibling's rooms.

Dad is a public figure and Mom is a trauma counselor by trade who runs a non-profit for youth and young adults. The family travels often and sporadically based on the needs of dad's work. The family loves to be together and travel as a group. The nanny would need to have the flexibility for impromptu travel and extended travel to the second family home in North Texas. Other locations the family visits regularly are D.C. and West Palm Beach, FL.

There are occasions when both parents will travel without the children and will need the nanny to stay and care for the children. The family will pay a flat overnight rate when they are away. They have never left the children for more than 3 days at a time. There are 2 small dogs in the home that would only need to be cared for if the nanny stays home with the children while the parents travel independently.

The family will continue to be based in South Carolina and that is where the nanny would need to be permanently located/relocate to. When traveling, including extended travel, the nanny will have a private room. The family homes in SC and TX both have pools, and they are constantly at the beach in Florida as well. The candidate will need to be a strong swimmer and understand water safety.

The family prefers the candidate to have standard baby vaccines; Tdap and MMR. No preference for Covid vaccinations. The candidate must be willing to sign an NDA. Benefits include 10 days PTO + 5 Sick Days. Start date ASAP. Pay based on expereince.

Qualifications:
BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study

CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)

Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position

A passion for working with children

Two+ years childcare experience

Excellent work and personal references

U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)

Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership

Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus

Competent swimmer

Non-smoker

Willing to go through extensive Background Check

Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident

Willingness to show proof of immunizations

No-cell phone driving signed guarantee
