This position manages the park’s marina and bait shop. Duties include managing rental and maintenance of marina equipment, including flat bottom boats with outboard motors, canoes, kayaks, and pedal boats. Also includes assisting customers, providing information, and resolving complaints. Other duties include handling monetary transactions, managing a resale inventory, and making sure the facility is clean & well-kept. This position trains and supervises seasonal employees in facility operations and use of rental equipment. The marina manager assists with regular fishing reports for the public and maintains the fish cleaning station. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. This position will be required to work a varied schedule, including some weekends and holidays. A criminal background check is required.

Applicants must meet or exceed the following qualifications: The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus three years of experience in business, marketing, retail sales or a related field. Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the qualifications review committee.
