New Job Heavy Equipment Operator In Mississippi

Duties: To load and unload Heavy Equipment, to dig, excavate, and remove dirt, asphalt, and various other debris, to have the ability to excavate without damaging other utilities underground cables operate dump trucks, transport dirt and other materials to job site. Ability to do a walk around before and after the work day begins and end. May work evening and weekend as required by staffing shortages or emergency and other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Also will work a rotating call 24 hour 7 days per week.

Qualifications: Class A license, with 3 years of responsible maintenance and construction experience. Experience with operating heavy equipment. Perform semi-skilled and skilled maintenance, construction and repair work in an assigned area of responsible. Work independently in the absence of supervision. Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and written. Establish and maintain effective work relationships with those contracted during the course of work.

PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT, APPLICANT RECOMMENDED FOR EMPLOYMENT SHALL BE REQUIRED TO SUCCESSFULLY PASS A URINALYSIS AND/OR BLOOD TEST TO SCREEN FOR ALCOHOL AND/OR DRUG ABUSE.
