Job Summary
Performs administrative support work performing specialized clerical and customer services tasks regarding inquiries, accounts, rates and service; related work as apparent or assigned. Work performed under the general supervision of the City Treasurer. Essential Functions

Provides general office duties such as making appointments; gathering, assembling, maintaining and organizing data for various documents, reports, paperwork and files; maintaining office equipment and supplies; performing data entry; preparing various routine documents, reports, correspondence, etc. Maintains and updates databases as assigned.
Provides customer service by answering questions in person or over the phone, responds to citizen and employee/department requests for information, and complaints. Ensures appropriate confidentiality of information as necessary.
Process work orders for service maintenance/installation requests to Water Division; monitors, evaluates, and presents solutions to potential problem areas.
Routine use of office equipment including personal computers, word processing, spreadsheet, database management and software; maintains rigorous typing speed, skill, and accuracy.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
This work is sedentary and requires little to no exertion of force; work regularly requires sitting, bending, reaching, hand dexterity (grasping, holding, keyboarding, repetitive movements), reading, writing, eye-hand coordination, seeing (near and/or far, color, depth, field of vision), hearing, using the telephone, contact with government officials and the general public, working overtime, and working inside and alone; work is generally in a moderately noisy location (e.g. business office, light traffic). Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalency.
2 - 3 years" experience in an office setting, providing customer service.
