This position is responsible for supporting the accounting functions in Accounts Receivable. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Contact customers for payment on past due accounts- Attend monthly credit calls
- Process credit applications/ Process credit references
- New customer set up and account maintenance
- Respond to inquiries from customers, and research/resolve outstanding credit issues
- Monitor/release credit holds in Account Receivable
- Respond to inquiries from external and internal customers and sales team
- Maintain unapplied payment report
- Handle/deposit customer payments received in house
- Alert departments of payments that come in daily
- Maintain tax-exempt certificates
- Provide customer service to our valued customers by mailing/emailing invoices and statements and taking credit card payments as needed
- Candidate must be extremely organized with attention to detail, and be highly customer service oriented
- Role will be focused on accuracy and timeliness of payment posting, resolving and reconciling variances in Customer trade receivables, running daily bank reports, and reconciling/applying bank deposits, ACH wires, cash deposits, and credit card batches, as well as processing and reconciling postings of cash deposits, credit card, and other Accounts Receivable application spreadsheets from lockbox postings

- Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
