The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is currently seeking candidates for the position of Admin Support 3 for the Facility Security at Georgia Regional Hospital - Atlanta, located in Decatur, GA.

Job Grade E

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Description:

Performs a variety of clerical functions/processes for the office. Clerical duties may include document examination, licensing, purchasing, and vendor management, compiling evidence, drafting contracts, developing operating procedures and research, or a similar level of work. May serve as lead worker and/or supervise lower level staff.

Job Responsibilities & Performance Standards:

This full-time administrative assistant position is vital to the day-to-day operations of the Facility Security and Fleet Departments. The person in this position is responsible for assisting individuals with their property pick-up, issuing GRH-A Work ID’s, ordering supplies for the security and the fleet departments, Kronos Timekeeper, entering all invoices into the E-Procurement System for payment. This position will work the day shift and will be responsible for providing customer service to staff, individuals and visitors that come to the security/fleet department. Without this Admin Support , it will be very difficult to keep up with the payment for all invoices to our vendors that will need to be entered into the E-Procurement System and the ordering of supplies for the security and fleet departments.

  • Computer skills
  • Ability to maintain routine clerical records
  • Ability to maintain and update filing, inventory and mailing system
  • Ability to perform basic bookkeeping and banking transactions
  • Ability to prepare all related reports
  • Ability to operate all office machines.
