New Job Sr. Director Treasury In Massachusetts

The Team

We are seeking a Senior Director Treasury to lead American Tower’s Treasury Operations department with direct reports and teams located in Boston, Amsterdam and Johannesburg. The Treasury Operations team is responsible for American Tower’s liquidity in all of the company’s markets as well as in corporate headquarters and regional treasury centers. The department works in close cooperation with other Corporate departments such as Capital Markets, Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Tax and Legal. It also interacts often with regional and country-level CFO’s and Legal departments. Global Treasury is routinely audited by Internal and External Audit.
Responsibilities include:

• Partners with key stakeholders from Finance & Strategy, Accounting, Legal, IT and others to optimize banking operations, enhance cash flow forecast and visibility, debt covenants, manage investments and insurance programs,
• Leads and oversees the management of the company’s Treasury Management System (Reval). Collaborates with key stakeholders and business partners as necessary.
• Oversees and manages all activity related to the company’s bank accounts (opening, maintenance, closing), bank e-banking/cash management platforms and bank credit facilities (term loans, revolvers, guarantees, letters of credit, etc)
• Creates, analyzes and delivers, reports on daily liquidity, counterparty risk, foreign exchange exposure and other standard/customized treasury reports as required. Identifies issues and makes recommendations as necessary.
• Is fully responsible for ensuring compliance with all liquidity/cash management policies, procedures and controls (including but not limited to SOX controls);
• Drives liquidity planning globally and by market; Collaborates with keys Stakeholders to make recommendations and executes on solutions to ensure that cash flows and liquidity are in line with business need.
• Oversees and or executes on the settlement of all capital markets operations public and private (debt and equity);
• Own the execution of payments and transfers related to M&A and Joint Ventures;
• Own the execution of all foreign exchange transactions (including pricing and trade settlements);
• Orchestrate derivative transactions (interest rate and foreign exchange);
• Oversee and ensure the dividend payments to American Tower shareholders and JV Partners;
• Overseen and or process all international transfers/wires;
• Ensure that all payments are in accordance with DOA; and
• Supervision of the company’s global insurance programs, execution of related payments and claim collections when applicable
• Preparation of quarterly Treasury Certification and Debt Covenant Certification
