New Job Pickleball Instructor - Sun Valley Sports - Summer 2023 In Idaho

Sun Valley Tennis Center has openings for Pickleball Instructors. We have a talented team in our Pickleball operation with amazing clients and programs, and we are looking to hire candidates who are passionate about Pickleball.

Education and Experience

• College degree preferred but not required.
• Undergraduate major in Physical Education or Sports Management is desirable.
• Experience running junior development programs.
• Knowledge of court maintenance.
• Job Knowledge, Core Competencies, and Expectations
• Able to promote and teach private and group lessons to juniors and adults.
• Plays or represents the club in Pro-Ams.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform the required role in emergencies.

Job Tasks/Duties

• Provides group and individual Pickle Ball lessons as assigned by Tennis Professional.
• Promote and coordinate adult in-house leagues and Pickleball socials.
• Communicates with Head Tennis Professional to schedule and publicize club pickleball events.
• Assists with special pickleball events and tournaments.
• Supervises adult mixers and events.
• Occasionally writes pickleball articles for the club newsletter and website.
• Attends staff meetings.
• Assists other Professionals and completes other appropriate tasks assigned by the Tennis Professional.
