DHHS Medical Services - Statewide Telecommute - Medicaid Quality Performance Manager
The ND Department of Health and Human Services Human Services (DHHS) Medical Services is seeking a Medicaid Quality Performance Manager for its Medical Services division to ensure regulatory and internal quality and performance monitoring goals are met for Medicaid.
As our Quality Performance Manager, you will coordinate state required quality measure reporting and comprehensive performance activities related to Medicaid. You will develop and oversee quality operations, monitoring program quality measure results against targets along with maintaining working knowledge of Medicaid programs and the Medicaid Child and Adult Core Sets. You will create an annual workplan to specify quality measures being reported. You will collect, analyze and report quality performance. You will develop, implement, and evaluate the Medicaid Quality Strategy to pave a unified strategy and framework for measuring progress and outcomes across the Medicaid population. In addition, you will serve as a subject matter expert and resource on areas of quality component review, data support, analysis and reporting to support performance alignment and achievement of goals.

You are able to convey ideas and facts orally and in writing using language the audience will best understand. You take initiative to lead and establish strong working processes with checks and balances.
To be considered for this position, you must have a bachelor’s degree in a field related to the position’s program responsibility area and three years of related work experience in a specific health/human service program area that involved lead work or supervisory work experience. A master’s degree in a field related to the position’s program responsibility area may substitute for two years of the work experience requirement. Additional work experience as specified may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis. Current unrestricted nursing license or certification in applicable field is preferred. Experience working with HEDIS is a plus.

Location: ND DHHS utilizes a blended workplace model. Depending on the role, employees may work from home, onsite or both. This position may work from home anywhere in North Dakota with a willingness to travel for team meetings and to service delivery sites as needed.
