ASI is seeking a Logistics Analyst to work in Pax River, MD. The analyst will provide Product Support Management/Integration to the H-60 Program Office, PMA-299 Readiness Team.


Responsibilities:

  • Support the daily execution and application of the data analysis processes, and delivery of actionable reports and artifacts developed utilizing the data extracted from various data repositories
  • Identify system degraded performers for aircraft systems and Weapons

Replaceable Assembly (WRA) reliability, and risk mitigation

  • Track readiness and build readiness charts and dashboards
  • Coordinate and schedule, with system owners and stakeholders, reviews of their systems’ reported performance and recommended actions to identify and reduce deficiencies that are negatively impacting mission readiness, reliability, and maintainability
  • Perform trending and analysis of available data sets to identify variation drivers such as:
    • Bad Actor aircraft by BUNO and system
    • WRA by Serial Number
    • Built-in-Test (BIT) diagnostic signal or Condition Indicator (CI) by system from the aircraft on-board health monitoring system (HMS)
  • Act as a member of the PMA-299 Reliability Control Board (RCB) team to drive actions for readiness degraders and prepare Program Executive level briefs
  • Assist Degrader Action Cells (DACs) with RCB SharePoint, analysis, root causes, and course of actions (COAs) for degraders briefed
  • Manipulate big data and independently perform highly complex data analytics
  • Provide technical direction and oversight of less experienced logisticians

Required Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of operational experience (Fleet experience) in the full spectrum of industrial and logistics maintenance planning and sustainment
    • At least 4 years of integrated logistics support across the spectrum of ILS elements
  • Bachelor’s degree
    • Additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a degree
  • Demonstrated competency in qualitative and analytic skills
  • Familiarity with the interfaces, techniques, processes, data, and methods needed to develop analytical processes and recommendations based on mission requirements
  • Working knowledge and understanding of naval aviation systems support processes; business systems and operations
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a diverse team of government and contractor personnel
  • Experience with Naval Aviation databases, including OOMA and DECKPLATE, VECTOR, Aviation Management Supply and Readiness Reporting (AMSRR)
  • Strong self-organization and self-initiation skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 products to include Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau and QLIK

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be qualified to obtain a Secret Clearance
