About the role:

This position leverages the successful candidate’s experience and knowledge of the regulations and procedures for public procurement at the Federal and State levels. Special attention will be paid to energy efficiency, HVAC upgrade and retrofit, and indoor air quality projects. Main responsibilities:

  • Monitor Federal and State (primarily NY Tri-State) procurement platforms for RFPs in the target product/solution areas.
  • Coordinate RFP response with BROAD Sales and Service teams
  • Stay up to date on ITC and other incentive vehicles
  • Maintenance of the Company’s portals on sam.gov and other sites
  • Active participation in industry events

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in targeted sales to government entities and a strong familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and general practices and procedures of government contracting, solicitations and RFPs
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Requires the ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and piping specifications and project designs to determine scope of work requirements
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self starter, and works well in a team environment
  • Excellent writing skills for production of case studies
  • Experience in project management is a plus
  • Experience in the HVAC industry is a strong plus
