TITLE: Coordinator-Student Information and Enrollment
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma and five years of experience working with SAIS system.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field may substitute for three years of experience working with SAIS related system
- Experience working with databases, maintaining data accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Experience working with SAIS in reporting student information
- Proficiency in utilizing excel to create reports
- Knowledge of basic office procedures and operation of common office equipment.
- Preferred qualification: experience utilizing Synergy
REPORTS TO: Superintendent
JOB GOAL: To insure the accurate collection, storage and reporting of student data from the student enrollment process through reporting to the Arizona Department of Education and within the district. Provide support and development to staff related to managing and utilizing student information.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain student management system database and ensure compliance with state SAIS reporting regulations.- Serve as the system Administrator for Synergy student information system
- Attend trainings and meetings to stay up to date on Synergy and Arizona Department of Education guidelines and procedures regarding reporting of student information.
- Complete and submit required ADE student enrollment reports and reconcile integrity reports to accurately calculate ADM reports.
- Troubleshoot and improve upon existing student information system software utilization within the district.
- Extract data from student management systems for Follette-Library, E-IEPRO-SPED Program , In Touch – Edulink systems, Nurti kids- Lunch program, Read 180
- Serve as the district administrator for the In Touch-Edulink system.
- Upload SAIS information and reconcile data for SPED Programs, ELL Programs, Free & Reduce Meal Program, Homeless, 21st Programs. Gifted Programs, PK-8th student and attendance records and membership, Report for Desert Choice (private tuition) attendance and enrollment and Arizona Safe District Discipline
- Audits student database information for the purpose of accuracy and validation of student enrollment data.
- Coordinates all software maintenance and upgrades pertinent to the existing student database system (i.e. year-end processes, new school start up etc.)
- Coordinates all aspects of student enrollment and withdrawal process.
- Coordinates the safe and secure maintenance of electronic and physical student records including the records destruction process that meets State Library and Archive standards.
- Establishes office practices and procedures that promote high quality customer service when interacting with the public
- Perform other duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Twelve months. Salary according to Classified Exempt Salary Schedule column IV. Employee benefits in accordance with Board policies.
