Job Announcement
Iowa County is seeking applications for a full time Child Support Director. This position is to oversee management of programs and staff of the Child Support Department in a manner that ensures effective management of Department and County mission. Plans, coordinates, and directs child support administration activities for Iowa County as ordered by the Court and as required by Wisconsin Statutes, Administrative rules and Federal regulations. Ensures compliance with department/county policies and procedures, legal contractual agreements, and legal requirements. Ensures expenditures remain within approved budget. Represents Iowa County by maintaining a positive and professional approach and demeanor in all activities.
Minimum requirements include: Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Work, Criminal Justice, Human Services, or related field; three (3) years directly applicable work experience, and two (2) years supervisory experience. Note: Equivalent combinations of education, supervisory experience and directly applicable work experience will be considered.
Salary for this exempt position will be based upon candidates" qualifications, with a current range of 34.00/hr. - $36.76/hr. A generous comprehensive benefits package will be provided.
