Position Summary:

The Banquet & Conferences Administrator is responsible for coordinating the delivery of all set-up/breakdown of event spaces, facilities requirements, resort activities for all group meetings and private event functions at the resort. The Administrator interacts with clients for seamless transitions between planning and execution phases of each event and is the liaison between Conference Planning, Operations, and client for day-of execution.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for execution and service for all banquet events and internal events.
  • Coordination of all setup and breakdown of events.
  • Act as primary day of point person and work with Meeting Planner to ensure AV, pads, pens and all planner requirements are displayed and broken down.
  • Participate in pre-function meetings with all banquet staff and coordinators to communicate planned details, last minute changes and follow BEO guidelines.
  • Manage Sales banquet BEO Book.
  • Review BEOs on daily basis with all necessary billing information for sales/accounting.
  • Greet winter groups and provide lift ticket fulfillment.
  • Assist with serving tables, bussing, bartending, and expediting as necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors' degree in hospitality management or any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
  • Strong leadership skills and excellent organizational and communication skills required.
  • Proficiency and experience in computer applications and POS systems-Delphi, Diagrams, Microsoft Office.
  • Audio Visual experience preferred.
  • Irregular schedule based on group/event activity.
