Full Description
The City of Southaven is looking for individuals passionate about landscaping! Our Parks Department employees work with a purpose to keep all City parks and recreational facilities in top-notch condition; including our famous Snowden Grove Park. Key job functions include but are not limited to:
- Cutting and mowing grass at various Parks department locations
- Sports field maintenance
- Operating various types of landscape equipment
- Inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining vehicles and equipment to ensure proper operation.
As our Parks department works year-round to maintain superior parks, regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
Physical Requirements: Exposure to all types of weather and heavy lifting.
Some night and weekend work will be required.
