THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Child Support Enforcement Specialist (CSES), you will be responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and ensuring the overall effectiveness of the Child Support Enforcement Program. The employee in this position acts as a liaison between the local IV-D Domestic Relations Section of the County Courts of Common Pleas and the IV-A County Assistance Offices, Children and Youth Offices, and other inter- and intra- departmental agencies.

This is a multifaceted position. The CSES responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing technical assistance to business partners, conducting system(s) training, reviewing individual cases to maintain data integrity, conducting case audits, representing the Commonwealth’s interest at FAIR Hearings, conducting outreach initiatives with outside agencies including hospitals and fatherhood groups, and working with customers to resolve issues. Work is performed independently, under the guidance of a supervisor.

Work Hours and Additional Information:


  • Full-time employment
  • Work Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; Monday - Friday; one hour lunch
  • You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Philadelphia.
  • Statewide travel as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Four years of experience in a domestic relations office which included the interpretation, application, and explanation of policies and regulations and analysis of information; OR a bachelor's degree; OR an equivalent combination of experience and training including one year in a domestic relations office which included the interpretation, application, and explanation of policies and regulations and analysis of information.
