OVERVIEW:

Guidepoint’s Human Resources (HR) team drives Guidepoint’s culture and company values of intellectual curiosity, tenacity, integrity, resourcefulness, responsibility, and service. We are currently looking for an HR Associate to support our dynamic HR team. The HR Associate will own the onboarding process for new employees and will provide general HR support. The ideal candidate has a high level of attention to detail and is a collaborative team player able to work in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who already has experience in HR and is eager to get involved in all aspects within HR.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires including but not limited to:
    • Facilitate new hire orientation
    • Conduct background checks and I-9 verification
    • Process new hire paperwork
    • Create employee profiles in ADP Workforce Now
    • Liaise with managers to create onboarding and training plans
  • Own the termination process including conducting exit interviews, identifying pain points within the organization, terminating employee profiles in ADP, and calculating PTO payout
  • Draft all internal documentation including promotion documents, payroll status change forms, and employment verifications
  • Administer leave of absence requests in accordance with federal and state guidelines
  • Update monthly headcount and attrition reports
  • Respond to HR-related queries from employees
  • Project manage various HR initiatives such as wellness perks, team building events, and employee engagement

WHAT YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a minimum 3.0 GPA is required
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in human resources administration
  • Strong project management skills with an ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information
  • High-level of proficiency with Microsoft Suite: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to contribute ideas to the overall team
