The Opportunity.

Aero Precision is aggressively pushing into direct sales with the US Government and Department of Defense (DOD). As such, we need a professional with experience in this marketplace dealing with such customers to help us find, participate, and win Federal contracts.

The Job.

Serve as a Government Contract Specialist to pursue opportunities within the Government/DOD space. Identify and win executable business for federal clients through applying expertise across the business development life cycle, including opportunity identification through shaping and capture and proposal and contract startup and execution. Work with sales team and DOD Business Development Director to firm up contracts. Lead and manage execution of capture activities to ensure costs, schedules, and performance goals are met. Manage internal key stakeholder relationships and keep the business leadership team informed and engaged in advancing strategic partnerships with clients and industry partners. Finally, liaise with corporate compliance to ensure all rules and guidelines are being followed.

. Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience considered in lieu of degree.
  • 5 years of related experience required.
  • Government/DOD experience or related industry experience is required.
  • Must have an understanding of the FAR processes and experience with multiple agencies within the federal government.
  • Must have experience with Government sites such as betaSAM, DIBBS & cFolders.
  • Must have pre and post award experience with Solicitations and RFP/RFQ’s
  • Experience with PWin is a plus!
