Overall Description: Responsible for performing all duties associated with the operational aspect of production, including but not limited to the receiving and charging of raw materials, the operation of vessels, and the extraction and packaging of finished product. All work done with compliance to SHE guidelines, government regulations, cGMP, manufacturing packets and process procedures, and at the discretion of the controlling supervisor

Key Duties:
Produce finished goods according to customer specifications – 80%
Operate the vessels and equipment following manufacturing procedures
Monitor temperature and pressure/charge and discharge raw materials/run boil outs
Sample product by following sampling procedures (take sample to lab, get results, adjust batch as necessary)
Record basic data on batch sheets
Package the product
Handle and locate chemicals – 10%
Load and unload bulk/packaged materials (raw materials and finished products)
Drum product & repackage
Pick raw materials from storage & charge materials
Operate fork truck
Conduct equipment maintenance – 10%
Prepare equipment for maintenance activities.
Maintain safe and healthy work environment
Understand and follow established procedures to operate safely in an environmentally sound manner including emergencies, startup and shut down and OSHA related issues
Knowledge of personal protective equipment and its use

Experience required: No previous experience required
Education / specialized training required: High school graduate. Basic math skills (computation) and basic reading comprehension. RCRA/Hazardous Waste Handler, Fork truck training and license, Safety training are preferred.
Physical requirements: Must be able to walk, stand or sit for a minimum of 12 hours a day. Able to lift 50 pounds and 155 pounds with help. Required to move throughout the production floor including uneven surfaces, climb stairs and ladders. Must be able to wear a respirator and pass all pulmonary function tests.
