Full Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect and sign for shipments upon receipt
  • Unload packages, using forklift as necessary
  • Inspect contents, ensuring accuracy and inspecting for damage
  • Contact supplier or shipper, reconciling identified errors
  • Label deliveries and allocate to designated destination
  • Maintain accurate records, and assist with inventory control
  • All other relevant tasks as assigned


Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma
  • 1+ year(s) receiving clerk experience in similar environment preferred
  • Experience operating forklifts, or ability to obtain certification
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills


Physical/Environmental Factors:

  • Cold, damp, wet environment with temperatures ranging from 40 to 90 degrees
  • Exposure to noise levels greater than 85 decibels
  • Bend, stoop, and lift various weights as needed
  • Exposure to strong, raw odors
  • Bend, twist, stack, push and stand for long periods of time
