Program Control Specialist

KBR is looking for a Program Control Specialist to join our team for an exciting opportunity supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Mobility and Training Aircraft Directorate, C-130 Hercules Division (AFLCMC/WLN). This is a full-time position located in Dayton, Ohio.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will perform administrative, reporting, and analytical tasks of varying type, size, and complexity to produce accurate, quality work products and maintain real-time visibility of project status. Responsibilities include:

  • Track deliverables, major events and milestones, meetings, briefings, and develop plans to ensure products are prepared and delivered on time
  • Coordinate and prepare monthly status reports, program management plan, program briefings, program status reports, requests for information, and other documentation as required
  • Coordinate and participate in program meetings (i.e. Program Management Reviews, team meetings, and conferences)
  • Record, track and manage actions and activities for the Contract Leadership Team
  • Perform quality assurance reviews on file plan and Quality Management Systems
  • Ensure contract management documentation (i.e. organization charts, telephone lists) are current
  • Assists in developing processes including schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for the C-130 programs to include weekly, monthly, quarterly, semiannual, annual priorities and events
  • Assist with day-to-day administrative operations across the projects and make recommendations in support of program execution
  • Operate in a team environment that may be geographically dispersed
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of work experience performing the duties described
  • Direct experience managing projects from start to finish with understanding of all the moving parts of a project and how they connect and affect one another
  • Experience implementing change management strategies to help employees adjust to new processes
  • Knowledge of creating Excel spreadsheets and gathering data in enterprise management clouds (i.e. Workday) to organize and analyze project and other data, including financial and employee reports
  • Ability to create comprehensive documentation and reports in a clear and presentable form
  • Ability to monitor and meet deadlines and have excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills
  • Keen attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience and knowledge with the missions, roles, functions, organizational structures, and operation of the DOD, Air Force, and organizations that govern, interface with, and/or influence the systems acquisition process
  • Ability to analyze, plan and adjust work operations of one or more organizational segments across a broad spectrum of functions and disciplines to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources
  • This can be a remote position
