THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This professional social service position is assigned to the Emergency/Assessment Services Unit of the Lycoming-Clinton MH/ID and Lycoming CYS Programs. The selected candidate will provide social service and case management support services to Lycoming Children and Youth and Lycoming-Clinton Mental Health/Intellectual Disabilities crisis intervention and emergency assessment situations.

Work Hours: 4:00 pm - 12:00 am (Su, M, Th, F, Sa) with a 30 minute lunch
**This position works non-traditional hours. Days off and work hours may vary.**


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

Qualifications:

  • You must have successfully examined and have a current score on file. If you have not already done so, you must first apply to the COUNTY CASEWORKER 1 - MENTAL HEALTH/INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES (ONLINE EXAM) posting and follow the directions provided.
  • PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
