Northrop Grumman is seeking a Contract Order Administrator level 04 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Dulles VA, or Redondo Beach CA. Realize the rewards of conquering a new challenge... The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Space Systems Sector, Tactical Space Systems Division's Contracts Operations team. Position is responsible for interpreting the contract, identifying the anomalies in the data and loading contractual related data and project structure data into the SAP and Costpoint accounting system(s). Position will integrate input between Contracts, Contract Accounting, Cost Management, program management, and other functional areas – in representing completed contractual agreements. This position will offer growth and development opportunities across multiple functions. Successful applicant will also be responsible for SAMs administration for the TSSD contracts organization. The work scope of the position includes, but is not limited to: In this role the selected candidate will:
  • Interpret the contract, reviewing content by utilizing knowledge and understanding of contract and accounting system, to complete the template for entry into SAP, or Costpoint.
  • Identify the anomalies in the data and research the contract to understand the entries, correct errors as needed and ensure consistency within the accounting system.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency through review and comparison of functional input and contractual documents for Division’s state, local, and federal government and intercompany customers. This will be achieved using the associated Project Structure (PS) and Sales and Distribution (SD) templates for completion and accuracy prior to data loading for new contracts and changes to existing contracts.
  • Accurate interpretation and upload of Contract Setup Forms to meet SAP or Costpoint requirements for billing, deliverables, reporting and contract clause management.
  • Support integrated cross-functional data flow between key stakeholders and program management teams.
  • Develop and execute SAP or Costpoint reporting requirements to ensure stakeholders have timely access to accurate data (e.g. Global Supply Chain, Logistics, Material Planning, Cost/Schedule Management, Tax, Security, etc…).
  • Provide data extraction and analysis to support all related compliance requests for information and data calls.
  • Lead kick-off meetings, or collect approvals in partnership with contract administrators, attended by all stakeholders.
  • Employ initiative and assume responsibility for the contracts and projects assigned in order to be able to perform all job requirements.
  • Candidate must have strong organization and communication skills and be able to work cohesively with other functional organizations within the NGSP sector and Division organizations

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • 6 years of experience with data entry into SAP accounting systems or Costpoint.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree
