HVT01: S&IS (FUS) - Vergennes 100 Panton Rd, Vergennes, VT, 05491 USAThis position is for an experienced Facilities and Environmental Health and Safety professional. Responsible for management of the 270k square foot facility. You will be part of the Senior Leadership Team at the site and will be responsible for the both the short term and long-term strategic goals at the site. Additionally, this role oversees Environmental Health and Safety, ensuring the proper compliance of the environmental impacts of the site, as well as the safety of 900+ employees that support the site.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Vergennes facility, ensuring the site is operating safely while supporting all business requirements.
- Develop short term and long-term goals to enhance the facility, generate cost savings, and provide a best-in-class work environment for employees at the site.
- Oversee the Environmental Health and Safety organization ensuring the proper environmental compliance, reducing carbon footprint, and ensuring the safety of 900+ employees.
- Lead reductions in cost / carbon / employee recordable incidents year over year.
- Partner with other senior leaders within the business to ensure facility continues to support all business requirements.
- Lead the security team on site.
- Liase with local government, state, and city officials.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of prior relevant experience OR
Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years’ experience OR
In absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience is required
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
Preferred Qualifications:
Environmental Health & Safety experience preferred
