BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Program Product Support Specialist (PPSS) to fill a key role on product teams for advanced electronic systems design/development programs and/or long-term production/sustainment programs. This individual will lead a team responsible for providing enhanced tracking and management of assets and material in support of program requirements to accurately account for equipment and associated program and government property during production in advance of customer delivery, while fielded or operationally deployed, and when returned for repair, maintenance, or upgrade. As a key member of the product support team, this individual must be detail oriented, inquisitive, and capable of acting independently to respond to requests and provide data driven answers to customer or program inquiries.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Secret Clearance
  • Provide near real-time accounting of equipment movements between locations
  • Conduct both manual inventory actions and electronic item tracking and management to maintain and balance asset inventory levels
  • Ability to identify critical metrics and provide them to the Product Support Lead on a monthly basis accurately reflecting status and findings
  • Able to perform independent data collection, asset tracking and related analysis necessary to support output reports
  • Possess sound communication skills and report information verbally or through spreadsheets and charts compatible with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Assist the program in achieving Contract and Supplier/Subcontract Data Requirement List (C/SDRL) deliveries and coordinating material for selloff
  • Understanding of the coordination requirements for tracking and movement of Government Property in the SUNFLOWER Asset Management database
  • Ability to act as the program point of contact for supporting, coordinating or conducting customer, Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), and company property account reconciliation audits
  • Capacity to communicate actions required to resolve lessons learned and provide documented processes and reports to enhance current and future organizational effectiveness
  • Monitor internal operations and repair activities to ensure actions align with internal and external demand and ensure material flow is timed to meet requirements
  • Must be able to lift 25 Lbs

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Subject Matter Expert level experience for supporting the development of departmental training on Asset Tracking
  • Capacity to attend or provide status on junior PPSS personnel, known or projected utilization, and recommended or required training needs at departmental leadership meetings
  • Capability to attend or provide status on program material and equipment movement at programmatic meetings as required
  • Understanding and experience implementing property controls in accordance with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations, current company policy, and contract requirements
  • Extensive understanding of the requirements for the transportation and movement of Hazardous Materials
  • Ability to monitor and use software to track, check, prioritize and route customer assets
  • Familiarity with product labels, barcodes and other features of completed orders and inspect for correctness and compliance
  • Possess organizational and communication skills that provide product support leadership during planning and execution
  • Experience supporting the development and submission of Basis of Estimate documents for Asset Management-related data on contract proposals
