Job Description:
At Regions, the Bank Operations ACH Specialist performs operational duties to support the electronic transfer of funds using the Automated Clearing House (ACH) Network.

Primary Responsibilities
Manages the processing of the daily ACH files to include exceptions, distributions, origination, and returns in accordance to National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) guidelines
Works with internal and external parties in resolving various ACH disputes
Monitors and reviews risk alerts
Performs ACH reconcilements
Stays informed of NACHA rule revisions and banking regulations to ensure that processes remain compliant
Works with limited direction/supervision
Provides advice and guidance to less experienced associates, assisting in the development of necessary skills and the promotion of continuous improvement initiatives

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

High School Diploma or GED
Four (4) years of operations or related experience

Skills and Competencies
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
General knowledge of banking procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
Strong work ethic and self-motivation
