NYIT's College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYITCOM) seeks an Administrative Specialist for the Office of Finance, located at the Long Island (Old Westbury,NY) campus.

Responsibilities:
  • Process travel & expense reports submitted by all NYITCOM faculty & staff, including P-card reconciliation.
  • Process purchase requisitions, check requests and PO's for NYITCOM.
  • Maintain files and databases.
  • Match packing slips with invoices and submit to Accounts Payable for payment.
  • Prepare Recruitment Authorizarions and Change of Status for faculty and staff positons.
  • Prepare faculty offer letters and reappointment letters.
  • Provide administrative support to NYITCOM Senior Director of FInance including the creation of EXCEL worksheets.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A Bachelors Degree is required.
Purchasing background is preferred.
Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and must have the ability to multi-task.
Must have strong negotiating skills, interpersonal and computer skills.
Must have the ability to work independently.
Excellent EXCEL skills is required.
