Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Material Program Manager 1 to join our team in Bacchus, UT. The Material Program Manager will display exemplary performance in the below job functions: • Responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning and execution of all material and services content for SLS • Focal point for tying together the assigned program(s) and supply chain management function including buyers, planners, subcontract administrators, customers, suppliers, etc. • Acts as the focal point to ensure all Supply Chain commitments are met. Creates mitigation plans to address any programmatic risks related to Suppliers • Briefs Program and Executive Management on the status and issues affecting cost and schedule performance. Execution • Total supply chain execution for assigned SLS programs • Basic technical knowledge of the assigned SLS programs • Ensures program execution to program plans, accurate schedules, budgets, make/buys, for procurement and subcontract strategies. • Typically used as a deputy program manager, especially when there is a large material content. • Risk/opportunity management of materials Financial Performance • Cost accounting responsibility (material and labor) for an assigned program. • Manage earned value management system (EVMS) for acquired materials/services when required • Establish/negotiate material budgets to support manufactured items. • Establish and track monthly spend forecasts and report variances and establish corrective actions thereto. Compliance • Apply Import/Export regulations such as ITAR, EAR, DDTC registration etc. • Apply security regulations concerning supplier visits or sharing information. • Apply government contract requirements such as FAR, DFAR, ISO, NASA, CPSR, MMAS, DCAA, SOX, etc. to appropriate agreements • Support auditing processes such as DCAA, CPSR, internal, etc. Technical Skills: • Continuous improvement tools such as PES, Lean Six Sigma • Earned value management system (EVMS) • Teaming & strategic agreements • Cost accounting standards (CAS) • Program cost control UTSpace

Basic Qualifications: • BA in Business, Finance, or SCM and 7 years relevant work experience. 4 additional years of work experience can be substituted for the degree requirement. • US citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance Preferred Qualifications: • Certified Professional in Supply Chain Management (CPSM) • Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) • Science or engineering background • Security Clearance
