Job Purpose
Under minimal supervision, position is responsible for preparation and processing of semi-monthly payroll cycle ensuring University payroll policies and government regulations are followed. Responsible for timely and accurately processing the semi-monthly payroll and maintaining all payroll records. Responds to internal and external inquiries regarding time reporting, pay calculations and payroll processes. Maintains non-resident alien tax software, prepares all deposits and annual tax returns and individual forms, and works in conjunction with the International Student Services department determining processes, reporting and training needs with the software program. Assists the Director of Payroll with special projects (i.e., regulatory research, system upgrades, process improvements and changes).
