Job Summary
Supervises the operation of circulation/reserve services at Burling and Kistle libraries, oversees security, users and contents of libraries. In addition to all circulation tasks, circulation supervisor is responsible for multiple functions including print and electronic reserves, project management, administrative support, student employment and supervision. Supervising students, collaborating with colleagues and handling physical materials requires physical presence at work. Does all work keeping the potential users of library services and the mission of the college and the libraries in mind.

Manages the library’s collection of Government Documents materials in a variety of formats, including electronic, CD, microfiche, and paper through the entire life cycle: receiving, processing, maintaining, and withdrawing the Federal Depository Collection. Does all the work keeping the potential users of library services and the mission of the college and the libraries in mind.

Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree with at least three years’ experience. Demonstrated ability to learn and use complex computer systems; familiarity with library technologies; proficiency in use of web-based databases and Microsoft Office products, evidence of superior organizational abilities and meticulous and continuous attention to detail; excellent oral and written communication skills; experience with project management and supervision; self-motivation and ability to work unsupervised; ability to be effective and inclusive in working with a diverse campus community; a preference for working in a collaborative environment.
