The City of Woonsocket, Rhode Island is conducting a search for a Water Meter Foreman. Under the direction of the Water Division Superintendent, the successful applicant supervises the Meter Readers group engaged in repairing, installing, reading and testing of water meters, as well as testing and repairing hydrants. A high school diploma, or a GED, with two (2) years of experience in repairing, testing, or installing water meters, or four (4) years of mechanical repair work using various tool and machinery. Must possess a Class 1 Distribution Operator License within one (1) year of employment.
