Your Impact:


This position will support various projects and project managers in an internal project control capacity within our Energy Portfolio. It is a teleworker position.

Primary Role Definition:
Project junior-level financial support to Project Controls team and Project Managers to ensure project financial goals are achieved for each project

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide detailed project financial analysis for multiple projects.
  • Schedule, manage and prepare budgets for monthly Project Review Process
  • Assist project teams in development of project proposals and pricing
  • Assist project teams with completion of project initiation documents and submit for approval
  • Review contract terms & conditions and apply project control tools/principles to optimize financial outcome
  • Facilitate work breakdown structure development with project team
  • Setup, maintain and monitor project financials in our internal project controls system and compare against budget as required
  • Assist with Invoice review
  • Maintain contract change logs for prime and subcontracts
  • Interact with Project Controllers, Project Managers, Operations Management, Accounting Department, and Staff
  • Update and maintain various project-specific reports as needed
  • Other duties as requested
Here’s What You’ll Need:
  • An aptitude to learn and grow with our team
  • A high level of initiative with a proactive, collaborative attitude and approach
  • Bachelor’s Degree a plus, but not required
  • A minimum of 2+ years’ experience in the industry preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, databases, and Outlook
  • Good verbal and written communication skills (including grammar, spelling)
  • Advanced problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and detailed daily time tracking
  • Ability to take direction and complete tasks with moderate direction or supervision
  • Work expeditiously, under time constraints with a remote team in multiple time zones
  • Very organized, detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as successfully within a team environment
