Introduction
The Environmental Management Division of the Public Works Department is seeking a professional to perform financial and operational analysis and other administrative functions, such as preparing formal documentation and reports, while contributing to a team providing financial and administrative analysis for business decisions.
ABOUT THIS ROLE:
Responsibilities are typically broad in nature, usually requiring some originality and ingenuity to ensure an appropriate alignment between assignments and organizational policies and objectives. This position provides fiscal support and administrative documentation to Senior Management. Routine duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Reconciliations, Cash Handing (Deposits), Journal Entries and Inter-Departmental Transfers, Performance Measure tracking, Record Management, Policy Documentation and Implementation, Professional Writing, Fiscal Reporting, and Analysis.
PREFERENCES:
This position prefers any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field (Fiscal, Budget, Policy, and Professional Writing). Preference for certifications in Finance or Public Accounting but not required. Preference giving to knowledge in Oracle-based Financial Applications, or Mobius, as used by the County.
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
Regular / Monday – Friday (37.50 hours a week)
Telework options available upon completion of training period

ENTRY SALARY RANGE:
$58,634.00 to $73,233.00
Salary range in first quartile: $58,634.00 to $73,233.00, with further considerations for those highly qualified (Masters, certifications)
