This position will have remote and hybrid workplace options available but will still be required to report to the listed address at the discretion of the supervisor and based on business need. This position will be required to report to the office address listed at least two days a week.

This position is considered to be at the first-working level. Position performs with some direction and guidance/assistance from others.
- Administer all labor exchange functions for the assigned workforce region;
- Provides individual job search skills development and case management to disabled and other
- Provides labor market information, interviews veteran applicants and prospective employers,
- Provides follow-up services to veterans receiving both intensive and case management
- Performs outreach to veterans in accordance with (IAW) US Code 10, Title 38, Chapter 41.
Perform comprehensive vocational assessments; short term pre-vocational services; development of individual educational/employment plans and client centered counseling services; identify employment barriers and ability to set appropriate goals or interim objectives/milestones to complete or overcome; enhanced job referral services experience; provide documentation of services provided.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Additional appropriate experience will substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Additional appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree.
AND
Preferred Qualifications:
- Social Work/employment counseling of homeless, low-income, ex-offender populations (for example)
- Public speaking experience
- Experience facilitating training or employment workshops
- Case management experience
- Marketing experience
- Outreach experience to employers
- Outreach experience to support agencies (TANF, homeless shelters, food banks, Voc Rehab, VA medical and veteran's centers, military installations, etc.)
- Experience working with a diverse population from a variety of different ethnic, social, and economic backgrounds
Required Competencies:
- Must have excellent customer service skills and experience
- Should be able to relate to people from a variety of different socio-economic populations
- Have excellent interpersonal skills
- Be able to communicate effectively in writing (emails, case notes) and verbally
- High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality

- Some travel may be required.
- You must pass a thorough background check.
- Must be a Colorado resident at the time of application.
Effective September 20, 2021, employees will be required to attest to and verify whether or not they are fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
