Customer Success Specialist (TRS1)

The Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses is seeking an individual who wants to give back to their community in a meaningful, direct and tangible way by helping to provide consumer protection and public safety through its regulation of more than 204,000 licensees within 48 Boards and Commissions for the great State of Idaho.

As a Customer Success Specialist, you will contribute directly by promoting, preserving, and protecting the health, safety, and welfare of the public by reviewing and processing documents, determining and explaining compliance with laws, rules, regulations and policies and taking appropriate action; and maintaining computerized records for the Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses as dictated by the requirements of Idaho code.

Example of Duties

  • Provide front-line customer service and multi-tasking functions that may include: greeting visitors and callers, answering questions about licenses and related fees, along with accessing the relevant rules and regulations.
  • Perform a variety of office support functions such as generating labels, forms, and routine letters; verifying completeness of applications and forms; maintaining record systems.
  • Process permits, licenses and registrations for customers
  • Respond in writing to requests for pertinent program information.
  • Process mail and distribute, prepare Certified Mail and packages.
  • Upload documents into application portal
  • Assist customers via in person, phone, email, and mail
  • Mail out fingerprint cards
  • Input data from fingerprint cards received
  • Input results and send reports to licensure team
  • Follow confidential records management and distribution of documents

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience monitoring a records system to identify and correct errors.
  • Experience researching a variety of sources to resolve problems.
  • Experience interpreting, explaining and applying regulations, laws, or complex policies to carry out assignments.
  • Experience entering and retrieving data using a computerized records system.

MQ Specialties:
  • Experience using word processing software to create and modify documents.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Fluency in speaking Spanish and English
