Center for Humanistic Change of New Jersey, Inc. (CHCNJ), is a private, non-profit social services agency that operates group homes for adults with developmental disabilities in four New Jersey counties. CHCNJ is committed to the belief that all persons have the right to be part of the mainstream of life. All CHCNJ programs have a strong concentration on achieving true community integration for the people who live in our group homes. The CHCNJ Direct Support Professional (DSP) will provide encouraging support to the people we serve through the challenges of daily life. All CHCNJ DSP positions have a consistent pay rate of $18.00 an hour. Full time benefits include vacation, holiday and sick time, a SEP-IRA program, and affordable health, dental and vision insurance plans that cover employee, employee/spouse or employee/child! Previous DSP experience is not necessary. All training will be provided for the new DSP after hire.
Please be advised that upon offer of employment, you will be required to submit to and pass a criminal background check, a pre-employment physical, Tuberculosis testing, drug screening, driving record search, NJ Central Registry of Offenders search and CARI (Child Abuse Record Information) search.
